Colorado GMU 25-26 or 231

Anyone out there hunt GMU 25-26 or 231 for either deer or elk?

I have hunted this area for the last 10 years or so and have been skunked for the last 3 years. I generally muzzleload but have been known to buy leftover licenses for 2nd rifle as well.

Just wondering how successful the rest of you have been in this area.

I hunted 25 and 26 this past week, and saw nothing except bear.
I have hunted their a few times taking some nice animals but same as you the past few have been dry. Think

GMU 25

Where in GMU 25 were you guys? I'll be hunting 2nd Rifle near Sheep Mountain. Just wondering if you were near that area. I hunted there last year and was skunked.

I mostly hunt the Harper Reservior and Gardner Park areas. But also spent a day near Derby Creek Trail and Moody Creek
