points

My moose and deer points have increased and show that I was unsuccessful.  I have nothing showing for elk - no point, no unsuccessful line entry, and no successful line entry.

Did you have points for elk before? Have you hunted for elk in Co before? Is there a chance you can get this tag with no points? Is it your 1st choice?

The reason i'm asking is, if you had no points, and you got the tag as a 1st choice and didn't need points. It won't show anything at this point. If you didn't get it. It would show 1 point.

Like Still Hunter pointed out to me on the deer thread you can be pretty assured you got your license. You are in the same confusion I was about my deer tag. If you had zero points going in and didn't draw this year it would should 2013 elk one point. If you had a point applying and didn't get that tag it would show 2013 elk two points. It confused me as well showing me deer points for past years 2012, 2008, but nothing for 2013. Now it officialy shows I pulled it.

For elk it's showing me I got a point for 2013 meaning I didn't draw my PP cow tag, I put in for. My dad and uncle aren't showing any points for 2013 on elk meaning they pulled their first choice muzzleloader bull elk tags. I'll still be hunting elk OTC archery and again buying some list C plains tags and got a point for next year so it's cool.

Okay.

Okay to answer the questions - I had zero points as I drew my 1st choice last year.  This will be my 5th year hunting elk in Colorado.  I put in for unit 45 as my 1st choice which is a zero point tag.  So I understand what you are saying now about not seeing anything due to being a 1st choice and a zero point unit.  I just expected to see either the pp or the line entry stating I was successful or the informaton on the licensing link.  Thanks guys for helping me out here!

With no PP showing and

With no PP showing and putting in for a 0 point draw unit I would say that you drew.

Yes, I agree you got the tag.

Yes, I agree you got the tag. The rest of the info will show up later. Elk isn't suppose to post results until the 24th, so you'll have to wait. At least they let us know what happen for our 1st picks with the points.

Elk Points

Mine show zero which typically tells me I've drawn my first choice. It has worked every year to date and did for bear and deer this year.

Not yet

Still waiting on the results to come out.  I applied for PP first then a tag where there were leftovers last year for 2nd choice.  If I get unlucky and don't draw that, I will be in for 3rd season OTC!

My wife, son and I are still

My wife, son and I are still waiting for results. We all put in seperatly and still cannot see anything thru the front or back door. Could see all the other results but not elk. In fact where you look at your PP for the total it still reads 2012. Funny I could see all the other results, guess we will have to wait until the official results come out and see what the deal is. Looked at my receipt from applying on line and there are no mistakes.

I just looked at both places.

I just looked at both places. My PP are updated for 2013 for elk and when I check to see what I have on file by going to the "buy and apply for license" page it shows that I have the sucessful code on file.

So I have a archery deer tag and a third season cow elk tag. I'll just need to get a OTC archery elk tag and I'll be set.

Yep. Backdoor is up.

Yep. The backdoor is up.  I put in for PP as first choice and didn't know if I scored a 2nd thru 4th choice tag.  Backdoor says I have a license, come Friday I'll know which one.  My son got his first choice tag for elk.  Good draw for my son and I this year--we used some of the luck that abandoned us last year.  Gonna be a great hunting season for us this year!
