Colorado Bound!

I retired 2 years ago from the military. Wife is still AD and we are headed to Denver in June. We are AK residents. Trying to get with some fellow hunters to learn areas, hunt Elk, Mulies  and get with some great hunting partners, I am 50% bow 50% rifle.

Thanks guys.

If you have a facebook account I am mtcop71@mac.com

Welcome to the forum and an early welcome to Colorado. We seem to be the majority on here but most of us live on the western side.

Keep posting up experiences, and questions when your time gets closer to getting here.

Welcome

Coop, welcome to the site and to Colorado. I am currently stationed at Ft. Carson and as luck would have it Colorado is also home. The folks on this site are very helpful and willing to share info so if you have questions ask. Don't expect someone to tell you their honey hole but they will not steer you wrong. Nice photo of the caribou and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

Thanks guys, I will keep you informed as the move approaches.

I would never expect for people to give up their honey-holes. Cause I damn sure won't give up mine..

Looks like we will be moving in the Castle Rock or Parker area.

Fort Carson has some awesome

Fort Carson has some awesome Muleys and Elk.  They have a few extra steps to hunton base but its worth it.  I was there for almost 6 years and cant wait to get back there.
