Colorado best trophy deer unit

I am starting to accumulate quite a few peference poinis for deer,what unit would be the best for a trophy?.I have been scouting unit 2 and seen numerous bucks around the 30 inch class,but is it really worth it?.I also elk hunted in unit 55 and saw numerous large bucks, I have 6 points

you might want to look out on the eastern plains, like east of castle rock, herd there are some monsters down that way and I know way out east there are also some monsters.

I agree with BGOOD on the eastern plains. I can't give you a specific unit but there are supposed to be some real bruisers out there. I've seen some pics of some deer taken on the plains and they're enough to make your mouth water.

As for the northwest corner, the deer tend to be tall but not very wide but it sounds like you have seen some wide deer. If your goal is an absolute monster I'd look to the plains. If you just want a respectable buck I think your looking in the right place.
