Colorado Area 75 Info, first time elk hunt

I drew a cow tag and I will be hunting area 75 during the muzzleloader season. Can anyone give me any tips on the area? I have been studying the maps and have a general idea where I want to hunt. I know the summer has been very dry, has that moved the elk down ? Any info would be helpful. Thanks
