OK, I am applying on-line for a non-res. elk preference point. I have done so for the last two years. When I apply, do I have to get the $5.00 habitat stamp and pay the other $25.00 application fee too? Or, is just the $254.00 like I think I paid last year for a point? Thanks

If you successfully draw a tag but have not yet purchased a habitat stamp you will receive a postcard that says you were successfull in the draw, however you will need to purchase the habitat stamp before they will mail your license.

Since it is a preference point, you would apply as you have in the past. If you did not purchase a qualifying license last year the app will cost you $25 (if you are receiving a refund) otherwise $3. Habitat stamp is only required if you are taking a second, third, or fourth choice.
