Good to see they moved the muzzy season a week later this year. Much better, but i'd go for even another week later.

It didn't

Just the way the dates fall in September this year, the 2nd Saturday in September is as late as it can possibly be- the 14th.  Really like how archery falls though, getting to hunt til the 29th.

Yeah, I know, but it would be

Yeah, I know, but it would be nice to move the ML season between the end of bow season and 1st rifle. That way the bow hunters don't have to deal with ML hunters and vice versa.

ML season

I agree. It would suck to try to sneek in on a bull with a bow just have someone shoot close by and spook the whole herd. I haven't looked at the ML regulations. Are ML hunters aloud to hunt all the same units as archers?

Yes archery and ML hunters

Yes archery and ML hunters hunt the same units during the season. I agree it would be nice if they changed the dates like Still Hunter said but until they do archery hunters need to deal with ML hunters during the 9 day ML season.

I thought us ML hunters had to deal with the bow hunters?  :D

They get a whole month. We get 9 days.

I'm an archer  through and through, however, I agree with you. That being said, I'm ironically hoping for a ML tag this year.

ML

I do like ML hunting. Haven't done it for years. My question is do you prefer traditional style gun or the new styles with scopes and all the new high tech. You can definitely shoot much further with more accuracy with the new styles compared to 20 years ago. Personally to me it takes more of the challenge away. That being said I prefer a compound over a recurve.
