Co unit 11

Hello all. Looking for a little info on unit 11. This will be my first year in Co. and I don't even know if I drew a desent unit . Any info will be helpful. What is the terrain like? Paved roads or 4x4 roads,Any part of the unit to stay away from (private land etc.) Better deer population North, South, East, West, and so on.
Where would the best place to find a map of the unit, I would perfer a topo but anything with routes marked on it.
Thanks
RY

You will find all different types of terrain, all types of roads/access, plenty of public ground to hunt, but be careful of the private land. Find someplace that sells the BLM surface management maps. They show private land ownership and I find them very useful. The DOW is trying to reduce the deer herd in this area by giving quite a few permits. The deer are there, but sometimes hard to locate. I think your tag will also be for unit 211 as well, mine is. Keep that in mind as well for additional options.
Good luck!
