I got a Christmas opossum. My 5 year old daughter and I pulled into the driveway on Christmas Eve and there was an opossum on my front porch climbing on my grill. I just had to shoot him. My daughter told me it was our Christmas 'possum. She told everyone about it. She thought it was great!
Also, had a great holiday celebration with family and friends......and I ate like a wart hog!
Others have offered up a sighting of roughly 2 inches high at 100 yards as a good sighting scheme. In my own experience I have come to favor a sighting of 3.5 inches high at 100 yards. This allows for the individual to hold dead-on (directly in the middle of the top and bottom) the animal out to roughly 350 yards.
