children

Last year in this country over 70 pregnancies were terminated (aborted) by unwed mothers for every one child that was given a new life with adoptive parents. In July one of those babies that was given life was born in a Tennessee hospital. He rode home a few days later with his new parents who had adopted him, planned before he was born. Those parents were my daughter and son-in-law. When he arrived home he met his big brother, a little over two years of age, who had also been adopted at birth.

This is the dawning of a new year. Let's try to make a difference. Let's make this year one that has more babies see their first day.

good call

Both my wifes little sister and my neice are expecting.  The due dates for both babies (both expecting boys) is my birthday

How cool is that?

I love babies they represent a fresh start, a new life full of potential. Just imagine all the joys and wonders each new child gets to experience - every wonderful thing in this world is waiting for them to enjoy over their entire lives.  How wonderful a gift each new child is!

Abortion

As a rule I don't believe in abortion, but their are exceptions, and those exceptions and reasons have to be serious ones. Despite of the lowering birth rate we are facing here in the USA, it's much worse in western Europe and Japan.  The company I work for has an eastern hemisphere office in Frankfurt Germany, so I routinely meet with my German counterparts and I've heard on more than one occasion when they've visited here, they comment on how here you still see lot's of couples with at least one or two kids.  They said in Germany you go anywhere and it's almost a rarity to see young couples with any kids, in fact they said you just don't see too many German babies or toddlers much anymore.  Makes me wonder where the developed world is really heading.  They keep that up in Germany and in 80 to 90 years Germans will be on the endangered species list.

I always here my fellow Americans bitching and moaning about how certain immigrants have way too many kids and they're taking over our country and blah blah blah!!  All this fear that immigrants are overrunning our country or an invisiable legalized invasion has taken place.  Well my resposnse to that is: why is it that in the worlds most powerful and wealthy country on Earth, people here seem to think they can't afford anymore than one kid if any??? Why are lap dogs beginning to replace children in our ever increasing elitist society today???  I think any nation who values dogs over children probably should be overtaken by an invasion of immigrants.  Don't like it?  Wake up American and start having kids then!!  We make more money today than our parents probably did, enjoy lower discounted prices on average than in our parents time, live in much bigger houses, have more luxury, have more vehicles, yet Americans today are have far less children.  Why?  Have we gotten our priorities that far out of whack today or what?

Children

There have been many studies done on what happens when there are fewer children, almost all of the european nations have reached a point of no return, their society as it is now is doomed. No society has recovered after the birth rate drops below 2.6 ,and the US is right there . But every Muslim nation is well above that, as well as the Muslim populations in every other country ,very soon every European country will be dominated by there Muslim population.

Well, like I said - Any nation who places so little value on having families and raising children deserves to be doomed and deserves to be overtaken.  The western world has really done it to itself.  We're still the most powerful nation on Earth and the richest people, yet many Americans don't seem to want to afford kids these days.  Shame!  Pets can't carry on our lineage.
