If nothing else, it suggests that the public is becoming more reluctant to blame Bush for everything. As time goes on, the Bush boogeyman becomes less threatening -- to the point that invoking it becomes a joke.

Bush couldn't speak with a teleprompter, never mind without it. He already has been a joke for 8 years.

Cheney is so popular he still won't appear in public, only on tee vee. Bush is doing the smart thing and lying low, his dad has already clued him in to what he's done. Boy was he embarassed when he found out. Not everyone gets to host the worst terrorist attack in US history, start a couple of wars and wreck the economy on the way to shredding the Constitution. Quick work for 8 short years.

All you righties call it buyers remorse when the guy turns up more popular with moderates, conservatives and independents than you hoped. The only remorsefull ones are you all, and you were'nt buyers in the first place. The only ones not loving it are corpratists and evangelicals. And some even some of the evangelicals are on board.

This is just cracking me up. As much a mistake as Bush was people are finding out the current adimnistration is going to be a bigger one.
