I hunted my friends property right next to there this year and i did see a real big buck but im not sure if its the one you are talking about. The land i hunt is on Harvey Rd which is right where i think you are talking about. Hopefully he will still be running around next year.
i usually just stick to my friends property and see alot of deer but i know if they are on his property they are also on the surrounding state land. Lots of land on that rd and i do see alot of rubs and scrapes so there has to be good bucks in the area.
One of the things I struggle with when afield is keeping my rifle clean and in good working order. Small amounts of dust and dirt collect moisture; moisture can freeze rendering your action immovable when you need it most. I have seen this happen on multiple occasions, and over time, I’ve learned the cause and how to prevent this from happening.
The first thing that you need to avoid before going afield is leaving excess oil on the gun. Oil will trap dirt and sand in all the wrong places....
