I see options for checking deer online and over the phone on the ohio dnr site but I don't actually see a way to do it. Does anybody know a phone number or web address for how to do this? thanks.
On the main forum site there is a story about the new check in options for Ohio. There are links and a phone number listed in the story. So i just looked it up, the websit is www.wildohio.com and the phone number is 1-877-TAG-ITOH. Good luck to you. I'm assuming since you need the info you may have shot a deer? If so can you share some pictures and maybe a story?
Pretty cool that they give you the opportunity to do that. We just need to send in our tag out here, after we get it counter-signed by a peace officer or someone else that is acceptable. I think it leaves the door open to poaching though, because it seems to basically be an honor system.
Are system is set up kinda of that way too. we can call in our results or do it online. we don't have to have a deer or tag checked at all, we have a mandatory survey that needs to be done within 2 weeks after your season ends. It's Oregon law to keep your tag as long as your have any meat or rack from said deer, even if it's mounted.

A common myth people share is that cotton socks will keep you cooler than wool because of the lighter fabric but I have noticed that wool socks in...
