Change of plans!

Was suppose to head to NE to chase some thunder chickens but my plans got changed for me.....but I was able to get on some local property here in CO.  Now I can sneak away for a few hours and see if I can stick an arrow in an old Tom!

Dont you just love it when

Dont you just love it when plans get change for you. I was gonna go out to chase some gobblers but my bow is in need of some repairs that will have to wait for a few weeks so it looks like i'll be missing turkey season. Atleast you have a backup plan, good luck to you Goose and arrow a big fat bird.

That is awesome! I would kill

That is awesome! I would kill to have access to private for turkeys in this state. The time I have put into finding public spots with birds is just sad... I could have held another job and gotten rich probably. Too bad nobody pays to scout for hunting opportunities.

Good luck Goose! Post some pics

Well I made it out

Well I made it out today.....found some birds right off the bat and they were about 400 yards from my set up.  They worked all the way to 120 yards or so but would just not commit the rest of the way.  Learned a little, maybe sunday I can put it all together.
