I think that guy on the commercials you know - Can you hear me now? - has never been to those places on the map which don't have a WalMart within 10 miles or a Chili's restaurant. They show it on their website map, and I have proved him wrong too many times to believe any of them now. I do have good service in Gunnison however. Out here on the plains, where it seems like you would have coverage, because there is nothing to block it... yeah... ah no - no cell phone service or dropped when you drive next to a cow pie or fence post. When we cuss out here... you can think of the worst four letter words- and it's not them you hear - instead we just say "VERIZON!!!!" Best of luck up there - with your hunt - I mean!
Let me start off by saying I am not a farmer.
I am a deer hunter and I do own a tractor and have all of the equipment - but that does not make you a farmer any more than standing in the garage makes you a car - well, you get the picture!
Having said that - and with most of my ineptitude fairly well hidden - I do think that buckwheat is one of the most under rated cover crops out there.
I say cover crop because I see mixed results as it relates to the deer eating the plants.
