I am sure with the right seaonings it is good. A little soy sauce, some ginger, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, snow peas.....well you get the idea.

I've heard both sides as well.
If it's important to you, then you should try it. The meat might be good enough to do it again, if it's not, then there's no loss.

It's really good. I grill just like a deer or elk steak. It's very white and lean meat- it's like really lean pork. The flavor is good, i keep some around to feed visitors to the farm that want "wild" (real wild) game for dinner.

30 06 is that good to kill mountain lion???

Lion meat is good, I know a oldtimer that prefers it to deer and elk even. 30-06 is more then enough to bring down a lion. I was on a lion hunt where a 357 was used on a treed cat and another that a box was used if thats any indication.

Just read a story about a lion hunt posted on another site in which the author states that lion meat is very good.

It may be a matter of preference. I've heard pronghorn is not good, but the meat I have in my freezer sure is tasty.

Mountain lion meat is very good. It is tender, juicy and has a very good flavor. We smoked some backstraps once that were absolutely outstanding.

It is the best meat you will ever eat.
