Finally saw my first deer on Cape Cod this weekend. I have heard they were still there where the pilgrims first dropped anchor, but I had not seen them myself until this weekend 
It's amazing that they can make it where it is so crowded with people today.
I have never made it to that area and likely never will, but like you I take pleasure in spotting them in places like that as it is just amazing some of the places they have learned to adapt and survive.
I was even happier to get home and find a spike buck standing in my driveway 
!
They are everywhere!
