I would like to mount some antelope horns for the grandkids for Christmas. Can anybody help me out? I would like 2 sets of decent size horns that I can mount on a plaque for them. I have no idea what decent size is or what a trophy size is. But if anyone has a couple of nice sets they are willing to part with, let me know. I will pay all costs, I just need to get them in time to have them completed the week before Christmas when they get here. Thanks

If you don't find anything
If you don't find anything here check out Ebay. It is amazing at what you can find and buy there.

I'd help you out, but all I
I'd help you out, but all I have is set of small horns. We didn't draw our normal unit a few years back and settled on one without much public land so I was happy to get him, but he was a young buck with small horns.
I hope you find someone to help you out. Nice of you to do that for your grandkids.

My brother got a young buck
My brother got a young buck this fall but I do not think he has done anything with the horns. I will ask him and see if he is ok with parting with them. If he has done something with them than I do not know about it. And I think critter is right... EBAY might be a really good spot to check out too.

My bro's pronghorn was a two
My bro's pronghorn was a two year old buck so he is not huge. You can see a picture of it under the story "Ever Run Down A Pronghorn: On Foot?" in the story section of the site. I have not been able to get a hold of him yet but if I can are you even going to be interested in them. I mean I am not sure I would call them decent like you ask for in your post... they are good for a first buck though (don't get me wrong Colohunter!). I should see him tomorrow and I will mention it to him. This has got me wondering where the heck his horns are.

If I recall correctly from
If I recall correctly from hawkeye's story, the set I have is about the same size. if you want his and a matched set I'd send you mine too. They are not trophy size but I'd be willing to give them to you. Look at the picture of the WY mountain goat story and you'll see the goat and horns I am talking about. I just had the skull cap cut off it. It is on my reloading bench, but displayed on a kids wall would be a better place for it.
Just let me know.

I see nothing wrong with
I see nothing wrong with either of those sets. And to 2 5 year old boys waiting on dad and grandpa to pull the trigger on a whitetail, any whitetail at this point would be a trophy even if it was a doe. They just want to see some results of all that sitting in the stand and having to be still like all 5 year old boys do so well. For them, those are trophy worthy and a chance to stir a thought of 1 day going west to get their own set if you know what I mean. I would appreciate those horns guys. I got 1 more set of whitetail horns to get, and then I can give each of them a set of each for Christmas. Then I will get cussed out by the parents because they tried to mount them on the wall theirselves. Thats gonna be funny too. Thanks for yalls help. Send me a PM and I'll give yall my address.

I got the horns this evening
I got the horns this evening and they are perfect. They are not symmetrical, 1 side is a little longer than the other, and 1 is a little more forward than the other. When people see these horns I will have to cinvince them that I haven't been antelope hunting. Mainly because my deer always end up that way. I didn't shoot this 1, but all my buddies will think I did. I appreciate you getting them to me CVC. As soon as my GF's son gets them, he will get them set up on a board along with the deer horns. I will get a Christmas pic of the kids holding them up. I just hope I can keep them out of the baby's mouth. You don't know how this means to me to be able to give them to the kids.
