We think it might be native to southwest SD, but we're not sure... I thought it would easier to recognize from the antlers but I'm totally lost. Thank you in advance for any help.

Looks like maybe a caribou???? It has really small front poins, or shovels. Kinda hard to tell how degraded the rack is.....

definately looks like caribou to me too......the shovels at the ends are NOT elk or deer! Look at the shape of those hooves as well.......
