Agreed. I also think they should pad lock one of those geese tracking collars around the necks of each of these serial poachers... for LIFE! Sounds to me like they're the ones who need to be "tracked".
We all know in a year or two, these scum-bags will be right back out there - poaching!
Talk about a slap on the wrist. The time and effort these guys seem to be putting into their poaching deserves a much harsher punishment. Larger fines, 3 years of NO hunting followed by probation. ANY future violation should lead to a lifetime ban.

I was cited for not having my tag on my bear when i shot it fearing of the tag getting lost on the way to my truck when i got my truck a game warden saw me and cited me, went to court and the judge gave me $800 fine and 5 days jail time, i fought it and got $700 fine no jail time and 3 years probation, these guys are serial poachers and all they got was a fine and probation WHAT A JOKE!!!!!

Mule deer bucks may leave a little. Bull elk may leave, but don't assume they do. Don't assume any of them do. I mean - where would they leave to? (Just another place where, for the most part, they would be hunted.) These big animals have the ability to hide in very small, very obscure places. So, embrace the fact (...
