Codfish,

Look at new rifles made in the USA. Thats what I am proud of.

The Winchester M70 is being made and I like Kimbers also.

I've talked with a few guys who aren't happy with their Kimbers that were made in NY. Do you have one of those or an Oregon Kimber?

wlfdg,

I have four Kimber rifles made in New York. They are among my favorites and get used a lot as as I am older I like their light weight.

Go over to 24 hourcampfire and find a lot of Kimber owners there.

There is a few members here who have had a lot of problems with the qaulity as well as kimber standing behind their products. Both companies make good rifles, but if you want a browning get one you wont be sorry.
