Awesome pictures!  I would be

Awesome pictures!  I would be happy with any one of those bulls.  Nice to see some pictures in the Front Range that don't involve smoke or fire.

All will be

6 pointers ! A coulpe were obviously older with great fronts and thirds! The elk moved down in 2002 drought and never went back up! So we have a resident herd now in town or Around town! 5 years ago I almost hit some cows in this exact spot!! There were 19 cows and then the Bull came screamin from 400 yds away pissed they left him!! I was pulled over and cleaning my shorts wondering how I missed hitting these cows and that 6 pointer came within 20 yds of the truck, head down and bugling non stop ! This was at the crack of dawn in Sept! These Bulls move around alot and this photo is East of Highway 287 today right before we got some great rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to live in Loveland,

I used to live in Loveland, and you are right. They moved down from Estes around the time I moved here, 02, 03. I think there are going to be more heading that way the more the National Park keeps monkeying with them, hazing, culling, etc... Cool pic by the way!

Saw in the

paper today 5 bulls pretty close to where mine were! They were not the same ones!!! Some of the ones in the paper were 100 pounds heavier and had more mature racks! Plus they said one got hit by a car on 402 and the Division put it down Wednesday morning! I took the pictures Thursday Eve!!!! I will try and post a link to the paper for the pic!!!! That one is a pigg!!!!!

The Times-Call in Longmont

The Times-Call in Longmont also had the story (and pics) on the front page.  Too bad about the bull that was hit by a car.  Maybe Loveland is going to turn into the front range version of Estes Park where the elk own the town and the people and traffic work around them.  Would be pretty cool, I guess!

Thanks for sharing!

I've seen a few bulls while golfing at Marianna Butte before, but the bulls in town is crazy!  Must be the lack of moisture that has pushed them into town like that.

Now only if those bulls were on public land....
