You can't just post a pic of an awesome buck like that without telling the story.  Details, we need details.  It is a monster deer to say the least and obviously taken with a bow.  What time of day?  How far of a shot?

That is the kind of deer I dream of, probably most hunters dream of it too.

Man, if that thing had more

Man, if that thing had more tine length to go along with the width and the mass.....   I'd shoot it anyway.  Stud!

I saw a show online the other day where they hunted out of a hay bale blind.  Kinda cool.  Deer walking all around them, no clue they were there.

That is a whopper and a half.

That is a whopper and a half. Tell your buddy congratulations. I can not imagine having that thing standing in front of me at only ten yards, let alone shooting it. That would be pretty darn intense. This is the first time that I have heard of someone using the inside of a bale of hay as a ground blind. It is a great idea. I have obviously heard of stacking hay bales and using them as a ground blind but hollowing one out takes it to a whole new level. I was just wondering how they hollow out the center. Seems like a great way of fooling big bucks. It obviously worked on that one.
