The Bucks are Falling

Just thought I would let everyone know that since this morning I have taken in a couple real nice 150 and 160 class bucks here at the Taxidermy shop. The bucks are running in to the Grunt Tube and Deer Pee. They are only seeing them in the mornings so in a day or two we are hoping the big guys start moving.

I will be posting pictures as they come in.

That sounds awesome! I do not

That sounds awesome! I do not think there is any better canary in the colemine for letting everyone know what the big buck harvest is looking like than a taxidermist. I guess that processors would be pretty good resources too. It is really good having a taxidermist on the site to keep us informed. I am glad to hear that things are starting to heat up across the country. Good luck guys... you need to nail a big one and take it to Critter Done so that he can get to work.

Saw three bucks today. One in

Saw three bucks today. One in the morning and two in the later afternoon/evening. All too small to shoot.  When I took my goat to my taxidermist in early October he already had some nice bucks in.  I don't know if they were bow or muzzle loader kills, but they were pretty big.  I am not good at scoring a buck so I don't know how'd they score.  Probably 300's ::whistling:   Seriously, they were nice, but if I had to guess I'd say around 150.

I hope I can take a nice buck to him this year, but I'll most likely do a european mount since I still owe a lot to get my goat done.
