gather round children and let me tell you a story. lol Yea its an 8 pt with about 16'' spread, 170 lbs. I shot him with my savage 308. at about 150 yards on a farm near highway 302 at around 5:30 p.m. on nov 14th. After i shot, i waited about 30 min. to get out of the stand and me and my buddy looked for a blood trail. To my suprise we couldnt find one but i knew where the buck ran into the woodline at so i walked about 5yds into the woodline and found my nice buck. The reason for the lack of a blood trail was because i had a gutshot. I guess i was shaking a little to much when i pulled the trigger. But hes going on my wall.
