I have one on my Winchester. I didn't like the muzzle blast so I called Winchester and they sent me the CR (conventional recoil) muzzle weight.....no charge. It's been on the gun ever since. As far as helping accuracy, I cant really say. If I had to do it over again, I'd leave it off. That's my opinion, YMMV. It will be interesting to see some other opinions.
Browning White Gold Medallion .30-06 w/BOSS. Love it. Recoil reduction is significant. The BOSS is supposed to enhance accuracy. Don't know one way or the other, but I do know my rifle is very accurate (but not necessarily more so than a Rem 700, e.g.).
