browning blr takedown

just bougth a browning blr take down i am debaiting weatere or not to put a scope on it. dose anyone know if the scope will still be sighted in after the gun has been takin down and pur back or would i have to sight it in again

If you mount a Scout Style scope on the Barrel then no. If you mount it on the receiver then yes it will have to be re-sighted. If it's a new one it should be set up for both.

The new BLRs are tapped for scope mounts on the barrel, so you will mantian a zero on a scope.

thanks for the replys it is drilled and taped on both the barrle and reciver so now i just have to make a few trips to the range to see how good of a shot i am with open sights. I haven't shot with open sights since i was a kid with my pellet gun.
