just bougth a browning blr take down i am debaiting weatere or not to put a scope on it. dose anyone know if the scope will still be sighted in after the gun has been takin down and pur back or would i have to sight it in again
thanks for the replys it is drilled and taped on both the barrle and reciver so now i just have to make a few trips to the range to see how good of a shot i am with open sights. I haven't shot with open sights since i was a kid with my pellet gun.
Others have offered up a sighting of roughly 2 inches high at 100 yards as a good sighting scheme. In my own experience I have come to favor a sighting of 3.5 inches high at 100 yards. This allows for the individual to hold dead-on (directly in the middle of the top and bottom) the animal out to roughly 350 yards.
