All I can say is they treat their customers right.  I use the browning Nitro head lamp to hunt with.  Long story short, I lost the strap for it because I had been using the hat bill attachment.  I looked everywhere for a replacement and couldn't find one anywhere.  I called browning and spoke to Dave in customer service and he told me to hold on, came back in 2 minutes and got my address and shipped me one free of charge.  I asked what I owed them and he said just take up for Browning when someone bashes them.  Thanks Browning you now have a customer for life.

It's great to see when

It's great to see when companies step up like that. I have never had to call Browning yet but have had similar experiences with a few others. Leupold, Ruger, Kel-Tek and SOG knives. Like you said they have earned my business forever. On the same note there are others I will never buy from again.

it's nice to see a company helping somebody out even though times are tough for just about everybody.

lots of companies are cutting back. cutting jobs, benefits and everything. the place i work for decided to stop paying their taxes and file chapter 13 bankruptcy or something like that. and they lapsed on our union health care... needless to say it's the little things that build our loyalty to a company.
