Finally found a brow tine for my Bull! With help from my Retired Taxidermist we got it looking fairly good!! I am not fixing the drop off his right side, because I have no idea what it would of looked like!! Thought I would share a few pic's!
Shoulder Mount for sure!! Hopefully be done in a couple weeks. We both found bullets in this animal! The same kind! He found 5 and I found 1 just in the skin. Do you know what this kind of bullet is? ( .500 diameter or larger)
what other people have said! Powerbelts! None of them even penetrated the tissue. When the taxidermist fleshed my cape, he ran into them. 5 were perfect kill shots. I cut my cape far back as to always have enough!!LOL!!! But he said they were in a good group behind the shoulder! He was tough, because he took two rounds from the 30-378 and acted as if a bee stung him!!
When calling coyotes, more often than not they will circle on a target they are
coming into and approach from the downwind side. Presumably they do this in
order to align what they smell, with what they are hearing.
This means that you should always have your downwind side camouflaged and have
an open shooting lane. If the area is heavily covered the coyote could come in
take a look and be gone, with you none the wiser.
