I am wondering what broadheads to use for turkey. I am shooting 22" draw length and pulling 35 pounds.

I'm thinking about using some 75grain muzzys.

I know Muzzy makes a gobbler broad head. I can't remember what it's called though. You can probably find it on their website.

I know you guys like mechanical, but i go along with the fixed blade, i have the Steel Force..it is real strong and made with stainless steel..

It is my #1 broadhead choice, but you guys have your own opinions..

good luck and god bless Big smile

If your looking for a broadhead with incredible penetration, with cut on impact... look no further than at MODOC Broadheads. These heads are mad e here in Idaho, and though around for 10 years, the manufacturer has not pushed them into many retail outlets. Most is done through Mail Order.

I am current shooting these broadheads at 293 FPS, and they hit right where my practice points do. The 3 to 1 ratio design flys awesome, and hits where you aim it. ITs also responsible for the the Idaho State Record Mule Deer.

I like Muzzy . I use 4 blade 100 grain for deer . Im sure they make a good turkey broadhead as well. One thing is for certain : Muzzys can take the punishment of lots of use based on my experience.

P.S. Your draw and height mean nothing in the end. If you have a good time hunting then I say cudos to you . Big smile

For turkeys I use the large 3 blade snuffers. In turkey land shoot the largest you can get. I"d probably even chicken out and do something stupid like trying open on impact again too.

Penetration is not an issue. Even with 45 pound bows. But that kill zone is small. So go big or shoot for the head.
