Those tags have ink in them or something, DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE, you will be sorry, they need a special tool to remove, i had the same problem with a coat we bought for my Wife a few years ago at Cabela's, we bought it at the store they forgot to remove that tag, store was 110 miles away oneway, we ended up just talking it to our local mall to a store, and showed them the reciept, they removed it for us.

Yes Don, it does.  I am going to just return it up the road to Bass Pro next time I am there and get a smaller size.

That type of tag doesn't have ink in it. I've had some store forget to remove them before and I just used a dremil tool on the inside part of it. cut away the plastic and cut the metal pin and you'll be fine.

While I was down in Vegas late last month on a desert sheep hunt (a buddy had the tag) we stopped in a Bass Pro to do a little grazing.  Bought a couple of pieces of UnderArmour clothing and didn't realize until 70 miles away and 12 hours later that one piece still had the security tag attached (the other piece of clothing only had the stud with nail attached still imbedded in the clothing.  Fortunately I saw it before it had a chance to puncture my back).  Anyway, when I got home I took the thing into a local clothing store along with the receipt and they kindly removed the tag (probably didn't hurt that the store didn't sell UnderArmour products either) and I didn't have to worry about damaging the clothing.

Maybe the tag on the turkey vest is trying to tell you something - look for and shoot only turkeys that have those little pop up thingies in the breast meat..... Just a thought!
