Anybody else on here happen to draw this area in Colorado for Elk ? Weird how it is not talked about very much! Just checked the success stats and last year it was 100% for all 3 rifle seasons with the average hunt days around 2 !!!!! In 2010 it was 14 out of 15 for all 3 rifle seasons! It is not a great early season spot! Just a place the Bulls like to go after the rutt is over!!! Yet most of what I have seen or read is from Archery or Muzzleloader hunters who are not impressed most of the time! Not much of anything from rifle hunters, except that picture on the DOW web from last year!

Buddy must have a Cow permit? I talked with Bob Holder last night (DWM officer) who you probably know. Said he saw a herd of 24 bulls on the property , none of which were raghorns! Said it can be good real early and then again when the Bulls come back in after the rutt !!! Just do not here many mice talking about it that much! Let me know if you need any info when I get back after my hunt!!!
