Bookcliffs Rifle Deer

I was able to Draw out a Bookcliffs rifle Deer tag this year. I went up the first time this weekend. I went up Hay Canyon and looked around all Day. I have been reading up and asking others on were to go and have been told if the weather changes they move to there winter grounds. When I was up there the whole area looked like winter grounds in other places in Utah. Does anyone no where these winter grounds are located at? Were would other suggest to hunt at?

Head towards Vernal, Bonanza,

Head towards Vernal, Bonanza, or Ouray to find the winter grounds.

For some reason the deer out there hate it when it starts to get cold, weather it is a cold rain or snow they head off of the top.

You also have to figure that the Book Cliffs are around 8000' elevation.
