Hit Blue Mesa again this weekend and did pretty well on Sunday. Between me the wife and 2 friends we took 22 kokes, 4 browns and 2 rainbows. Weather was really nice and the winds did not kick us off the lake like they did on Saturady.
Thanks guys, wife and I are headed over again this weekend with another friend. Our friend has never caught any salmon so he is in for a good time. When ever you guys do hit the lake let me know and I can give you the lates reports on where and what is doing well.
When placing a trail camera don't just look for a well used trail. What you want to do is look for a freshly used trail off by itself that goes from a north facing ridge, thick forest, brushy knob or some other similar bedding area to a food source. Don't forget water sources. Especially in the summer months the deer need water so look for a good trail going down too a creek surrounded by thick cover and place the camera 100 yards up from the water source.
Scent control is very important...
