I don't know where you think

I don't know where you think that you were getting harassed, you asked a question and it was answered. You then asked a question concerning Colorado vs another state. Which was also answered. The way that I read it I figured that you really needed to see it in a official printed publication, hence the guide book reference. 99% of all the questions that are asked here concerning the rules and regulations can be answered by reading the guide book.

Sorry if you took offense, I am sure that no one here including myself meant any.

No reason to leave. I was

No reason to leave. I was just trying to get the point across that you should know all the laws in a state you plan to hunt. It's all on the DOW web site.

I figured any hunter shouldn't be the sensitive type, and handle a little criticism without feeling he was ganged up on.

I study all the laws, and i'd like to think every hunter does.

If this little thread got

If this little thread got your panties in a wad, I sure won't recommend two other great sites I'm on because they would have really let you have it, LOL! You need to have a little bit thicker skin and stay, learn, and have some fun for Pete's sake and don't be such a crybaby!!! The same goes for the member who made the initial comment too!

TopGun 30-06,

I also belong to the other forums as you and they do not compair at "ALL" to BGH. This is one of only a few where you can have a civil conversation and discuss issues and concerns and not take the abuse like on 24hourcampfire and MonsterMulies.

I share all of my stuff here and very little on the others just becuase of this. I have some of the thickest skin around and would have no problem coming face to face to some of those guys on the other forums or even take then on a killer hike just to shut some of them up.

Lets keep our good members around guys !!!!!

Quinton

Depends on what you are

Depends on what you are comparing. The other sites I'm on might be a little rough once in a while, but there are a couple hundred good, knowledgeable people there compared to the few people that visit this site that hunt the western states every year and consistently kill big animals. Everyone to his own I guess, but this little thread, to me, was nothing to get excited about and say that people were harrassing a member. As for me, I'm heading out to Wyoming and North Dakota tomorrow for 9 weeks to chase bulls, bucks, antelope, and pheasants. Have a good Fall guys and I'll catch you in November when I get back.

There's no reason for him to leave. However, he's not a new member. He joined a year before you, and should know us by now.

Stillhunter, You're right. He

Stillhunter,

You're right.
He did join before I did. Never the less it's still a bad thing to lose a member over something like this. Maybe he doesn't learn best by reading. I have an above college level reading ability and comprehension but even I don't learn well by reading. I'm an auditory learner.
I could see asking, and have, the same sort of question when the answer is right in front of me in black and white because of my style of learning.
Some people can take a joke via printed medium and others can't. So much is lost by the written word. Facial expressions, tone, and inflection to start.
So I'm still sorry to see this person leave.

I agree completely about

I agree completely about being misunderstood. I get it all the time when you can't see my facial expressions.

He really should have sucked it up and admitted a mistake. It really wasn't a big deal, and he has no reason to leave. It wasn't my intention when I made my posts to have him take it like he did.

Cmon! Just act like a man. No reason to run away.
