I start the ML season

I start the ML season tomorrow too. At least I think I am. I cracked a rib last week, and I was hoping it would feel better by now. If anything, it feels worse. Not sure what to do, because three friends are coming up from south Colorado to hunt my unit. It seems I turned into the guide, and i'm not sure how that happened. I don't want to disappoint them, but if I was hunting alone like i usually do. I'd probably take a few more days off. Either that, or swap my tag for an OTC bull tag later in the year.

Not happy about the spot i'm in. I've waited all year for this hunt, and it's not going to be fun with a sharp shooting pain in my chest everytime I take a breath. Not to mention carrying a backpack and gun. This sucks!

Muzzleloader 2012 results

Just got back this afternoon from my CO combo bull moose / cow elk muzzleloader hunt in unit 6. I dropped my moose on Saturday evening (opening day), and got my cow on Monday morning. Spent the next 3 days trying to find a cow for my hunting partner, but couldn't get close to anything.

Orion-CO,  Nice work!  That

Orion-CO,

Nice work!  That is alot of meat, and that bull moose is awesome.  About 20 more years worth of applying, and I might have a chance at one.

jcaldera,

That is also some nice work!  Two very nice bulls.
