Black hills mule deer buck

well i guess he kind of a black hills mule deer buck...shot him outside the hills with a west river tag...but i could see the black hills from where i was! lol

has lots of character from fighting and is all broken up...right side had 4 on the main beam like a whitetail with one broken off...left side had all kinds of stuff broken and looks like he would of been 5 on that side. had to drag him 1 full mile in the snow back to truck...fuuuun

then i shot a nice doe as well...

they are rayban transitions...i forget how dark they get...but with sun and snow reflection they are BLACK

putthe bullet about 4 inches

putthe bullet about 4 inches in front of entry side shoulder and it came out through exit shoulder...never took a step or even flickered.

just north of bear butte

Yes, he really does look like he'd been around the block a few times, doesn't he?

It looks like it was a nice day, too.

But maybe you should have broken off a few more tines to make him lighter for that loonnnng drag! Big smile
