Sorry to hear you canseled out on the bison hunt,, I'am a Newbie here and as soon as I read your post I thought it was a great idea.. Late Feb early March Great way to end the winter,, If You post it again next year, I know I would be interested in it. Would be two for sure and I could most likly find some more guys if you wanted a bigger crew... We would be coming from Manitoba,, that would not be a problem, would it? As there is no licence needed or is it for residents only? I hope we can get together on this, Let me know Thanks

Next year I'll try again but I think I am looking for an early commitment like 6months . I will try as if a guy were booking a hunt it would be 6 to 12 months before the hunt with a deposit to reserve a spot. First deposits in are first on the list. Winter is tough on whitetails, that is an accepted fact.
You can help the quality of your herd by providing winter plots - that are not necessarily designed as kill plots.
Having what I call green plots - that the deer can browse in when most of the other food is gone, can greatly benefit the deer herd when they need it most.
Come December - at least in our area of the south - most of the mast is gone, all of the crops were long harvested and this green browse can really make the difference for...
