Birch Creek Caribou

I've posted photos of this hunt is a couple different locations here. So heres another one. This bull was taken close to Pitka's Bar along the banks of Birch Creek , This drainage empties into the Yukon river at Circle Alaska. This was Josh's first caribou.

I understand why you may have come to to such a conclusion WS
For starters, that's not me in the photo. It's my close friend Josh. I was just helping him along on this hunt and taking photos. Now Josh has been known to take a few trophy animals for such a young guy, starting with a 6X6 bull elk at the tender age of 13. Josh's Archive The small or one horned animal tradition was that of the Yup'ik Eskimo natives I hunted with. I guess you could say that when I am in Rome I do as the Roman's do... Wink
