Big Sky Trophy Outfitters

Has anyone had anything to do with an outfitter called Big Sky Trophy Outfitters? The man in charge is Dale Denney. I believe they are based out of Colville WA. however they offer hunts in Eastern Montana. Their prices look fair and the hunts they offer are town hunts with them picking you up and dropping you off at your motel at night. If anyone has had any experience with them I would love to hear it. I am thinking about booking a Antelope- Mule deer hunt. Thanks.........

I looked at his hunts and got his latest prices. Given the short duration of the hunts, adding in the hotels and meals out of my pocket and comparing with what I can get at home on a guided hunt, I decided to go to Alberta or BC.

I really hate to make a post like this. I have heard bad things about this guy, and I would be very careful if you plan to book a hunt with him. I know things change and people change, but be very careful and if you do book with him, get EVERYTHING IN WRITING.

Take care-

Tracy at Hidden Valley is one of the outfitters we book for and I can't say enough good things about him.

RidgeRunner, it's the same outfitter. Dale's Montana outfit is called Big Sky Trophy Outfitters. Not sure why he has two different names.

I've never hunted with him but i've spoken to him a couple of times. I was looking at a whitetail hunt in your state last year. I believe it was in the Northeast corner.

Most likely....North east has the highest population...I know cause I live there lol...you really dont need a guide...there is tons of state and public land to hunt on as well as Bosie and BLM and a few other tree farms property that wont cost you a dime to get onto and youll see just as many deer...
