Anyone have a link to the deer featured in Field and Stream from Leavenworth county?

Also to redrider or jungleman, do any of you have pictures of that massive deer harvested this year in tonganoxie?

I heard Cabelas offered him somewhere around 40-50k for it and he turned them down.

Boy, I'd have to think hard about that one. Well maybe not so hard. I'd sell it and buy some land with the money.

The money being paid for big heads these days is why there are far too many headlights crusing the farm fields at night. The big 'whitetail frenzy' has created a big black market for large racks.

It is sad to see. Cry

Ya, but I wouldn't have a problem selling it knowing that I did it right and legally. This "poor white trash" guy could use the cash!!! I'd get a replica made of it though. No matter what you'll always have the rights to the memories. All the money in the world can't take that away from you.

Did anyone hear about the guy from NY that shot another record down by Council Grove? I got a pic of it, but didn't get much for a story. I've heard "hear-say" about it, but nothing more. Anyone?...Buehler?....Buehler?
