Last Friday, my wife gave birth to our first child! A baby girl weighing 6lbs and 12oz. Her name is Alaina Hope and she is a very mellow, peaceful baby... thank the Lord.

Wow that is great, congrats.
Now you and the wife should have a serious talk. This girl (name????) may grow up to be a big game hunter. If so she will need a quality rifle. Now with Winchester and other gun mfgs going belly up (or just not doing so great right now) this may be the time to get that new gun for her 
, just a thought. Of course you would need to do extensive tests on the gun to make sure it is safe.
