Big Buck? Opinions Please

Cought this buck on my trail camera for the past two weeks now. My frist year hunting. This is only buck I have seen on my family land so far. Any clue what he would score? Is it worth it to take him this year if possible or should I wait till next year?

I have found two scrapes on the ground right near where he was cought on camera. I havent seen him hit the scrapes at all but he did put up fresh rubs on a sappling on a tree in the picture. Wondering if I should hunt this area sence he is passing through here with a rub and the scrapes. Still not sure if scrapes are his tho but like I said im fairly new and learning. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appericated.

Thanks

Seriously?  Asking if that is

Seriously?  Asking if that is a big buck, is like asking if Heidi Klum is attractive....  That thing is an absolute beast!!!

First of all, welcome to the site!  We'd love to have you share some more photos and stories with everyone, especially if you have deer like that.  Make sure to stick around and browse the forums.

Also, just an FYI, IMG tags do not work on this site.  You will need to simply upload the photos using the option below the text box when posting the thread.

Hope that is one you can take a run at this fall.  If so, best of luck!!!

Oh, and I forgot to address

Oh, and I forgot to address your question.  I have no clue how to score a deer's rack, but I can say this, there is no way in he!! that I let that deer walk.

That may be just me, but even for guys that practice QDM, that deer looks like it has some age.  Old face, little bit of a sway to it's back, etc.  I think you'd be safe to shoot it.

For whatever reason I can't see the pictures at all so I'll take ca_Vermonsters word for it and just say take him down if you get the chance!

And also welcome to BGH and I hope to hear a follow up story on how it goes and some pictures that I can get a look at. Good luck with the hunt.

First of all welcome to the

First of all welcome to the site. Always great to talk with hunters and share info. That is three of us that cannot see it but if you are asking how big you think it will score it is a shooter in my book. I am not a big "Point Score" guy but sounds like you have a great buck waiting to be taken. Good luck on the hunt and hope you can post a photo we can see.

Hey Bucknasty, I hope you

Hey Bucknasty, I hope you don't mind, but that's a great buck, so I will take the liberty of re-posting the photos for you for the others to see.

Again, trigger finger can't be stopped on that buck Wink

Glad you could reload the photos as that is a nice buck for sure. I would not hesitate to take him if the shot was there. Good luck.

Good Night Nurse

Just to see a buck like that is awesome.  Hey notice anything about one of the pictures.  That Buck is looking straight at that Trail Cam.  The more trail cam pictures I look at the more times I see a deer looking straight at it.  No way those things are stealthy.

Welcome to BGH!! Thanks for

Welcome to BGH!! Thanks for sharing the pictures you got there.(thanks CA_ for reposting them). That buck is an absolute toad and I don't know a single hunter that would let that guy walk. Whether it's your first year hunting or last year hunting that is a shooter by any standards. I wish you luck on taking this toad. Keep us posted on how it goes. I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures but of you sitting behind it holding it's rack. Good luck sir.
