Shame on You! Looking at purchasing some Danner boots or Rockys for that hunt too, any pros/cons with these boots.

I never use scent-lok clothing myself, too expensive for me, but I suppose it couldn't hurt....
I was just going to comment on the boots some. I wear a couple of different pair of Rocky boots depending on what I'm doing, and have worn out a few too in the past 20 some years, lol. I really like them, and they have always fit well when ordered from a catalog, kept my feet dry etc., and probably why I keep ordering them if needing a pair. I've had the current pairs for several years now and still going strong. Never tried the Danner's, so can't say. My experiences anyway.
Good luck on your hunt.

I wouldn't worry too much about the sent lock stuff, as was said it is very expensive and the money can be spent better elsewhere. There are some things to remember when archery hunting and your clothing. Never cook or stand around a camp fire in what you are going to be hunting in. What I usually do is keep a heavy garbage bag to put my camo into and put some pine boughs into it. I change into it when I am ready to head out and change out of it when I get back to camp. A lot of times just to kick up the sent a little when I am on the hill I'll take some fresh elk or deer scat and rub it into my boots. Weather it helps or not I do not know but I have been close enough to a lot of elk to just stab them with the arrow and forget about the bow. As far as the boots you'll just have to find some that you like and wear them for a couple of weeks or so to break them in. I have had some that I loved and bought another pair just like the pair that I wore out just to chuck the new pair.
