The Best Idaho Tags????

So I was drawn for a Unit 11 muley tag this year, woot for me but i was talking to one of my freinds from Southern Idaho and he was like what in the world is Waha. So this got me thinking a little as most everyone I know up here wants to get there hands on a unit 11 muley. I am from Southern Idaho originaly and down there "Bennett Hills" is king unit 45 and oh cant rember the other 50 or something like that. So I thought it would be interesting to find out what most of you think. What are the most sought after tags for Idaho. If you have an opion on any or all animals please give it i.e. Sheep, Moose, Goats, Antelopes, whitetail, muley, elk.

This would be my list
Sheep unit 11
Moose not sure
Goats unit 18
Antelopes unit 42
Whitetail not sure
Muley unit 45
Elk unit 11

For elk, one of the three areas that I believe is better is unit 37. Unit 11 has a 58% success rate for bulls and 58% of them are 6pt+, a great area! however, unit 37 has a 61% success rate with 83% of the bulls being 6pt+. Not to mention better odds of drawing.

I have killed a couple of big deer in Unit 45 and I like it for the late hunts. Unit 44 is better in my opinion during the early seasons. When it gets colder the migration definitely drives the animals into 45 though.

This year will be my first for hunting the Bennett Mt. area for elk ... my wife, son and I were all drawn for the Sept 25th rifle bull elk tags. Any help on finding property to hunt on would be appreciated.

Waha does hold some dandy mulie bucks. I played baseball up there for LCSC. We went out into WAHA looking for WT and always saw mulies. Up on top there were a couple of ranches off the west side that had rolling fields that went all the way to the Snake River Breaks to the west. We walked out to the breaks and looked down the slopes. It would be were I would go if I had that tag. As a lifelong Idahoan I am not going to post on here what tags are my dream tags. All that does on this internet is flood the drawing odds for those hunts next year. I will say you have a good tag, every bit as good as 45 if you hunt the right area.

clearwaterart, I also drew the Unit 11 tag this season. I've been out on the Waha a couple times this summer doing some scouting and have seen some really nice bucks out there.

However, I think I am going to start the season further south in a couple areas my buddy told me about. Since I live in Clarkston I am going to hold the Waha area in my back pocket in case it doesn't pan out further S.

I was in unit 11 yesterday, as I have a elk tag. Ran onto 4 bucks and a doe together. Two were normal 4 pts. The other two were fairly nice bucks.
You guys will have fun, although from the pics I see from my in law in Boise,
the Ohywee (sp) has some awesome bucks.

If you look real close one of the bucks is behind the tree, him and the other small one were sparing...............it was fun to watch.
