I just got a springfield armorary xd-40. I like it alot. I just sold the glock model 22.

I have owned and liked Glocks(22 & 23) A friend had a 35 and I loathed it( personal opinion) I am now a Sig/Sauer owner and have no plans to change.

I'm a fan of single action. I'd probably go with either a Sig Sauer 229/226 w/ hammer, another option would be one of the 1911's out there chambered in 40.

Of the DAO models, I think the Sig DAK, Glock, and S&W MP offer the best triggers.

springfield xd 357 sig, and walther p99 are both my favorites, i own both among others but they are definately my favorites even over my sig
