Go to your local archery place and see if they have something you can shoot to get a feel for what you like. Just hang out and talk with some of the people shooting and ask what they like and why.

I made the mistake of buying a bow from a friend then went to my local range to get some help and b/c I wasnt going to spend much $ they kinda ignored me.

Everyone will tell you that its all personal prefference so see if you can borrow someones or if your range has something you can try, tso you can learn what your personal prefference is.

I have a PSE whitetail extreme and I am very happy with it, however if you've got some $ to spend you should hang out in your local range and check out some of the new stuff matthews and browning have to offer. You usually get what you pay for with this type of thing. Good luck!

Thanks for the info... I went to my local Cabela's today and found just what I want and got alot of great info as well. I tryed out a few bows and found a PSE Fire Flite 33 CF Package in Seclusion 3D. Now if I can just get someone to buy it for me for Christmas otherwise I'll have to go get it for myself.
