Man, that's a great rack, no

Man, that's a great rack, no doubt, but I am almost more impressed with the body size!! Holy cow, that looks like an elk with a mule deer rack.  Heck, I think the bear might have passed him up, may have been too intimidated!!!

Hawkeye, congrats on a beauty of a mule deer, and capping off a truly awesome hunting season.  This, I am sure, will be one you will relive for years to come.  That is, unless you top it next year, right? Wink

Way to go!  Keeps the rest of us believing and dreaming!!

Congrats on an awesome buck!

Congrats on an awesome buck!  I like that he is both wide and tall.  Body-wise, he does look like a beast.  Sounds like he was eating well, and that he will provide you with the same luxury.  Congrats on wrapping up your major hunts for the year!  After the success you have had this year, I imagine it will be difficult to top, but here's to trying! Applause

Nice Buck.

Perhaps the old bear thought you were going to pass the buck, as it were.

Nice Muley Buck, a true 4x4. White tail hunters would count the eye guards and any other bump and call it a 10, or perhaps an 11 or 12 point.

I want one too.

That is a great buck.  Glad

That is a great buck.  Glad you were able to connect on a good one and that you were able to get him out before the bear got to him.  I also cut some bear tracks in the snow while elk hunting this year.....kind or creepy and cool at the same time.

Congratulations on a great

Congratulations on a great looking buck Hawkeye and a what a great year you have had hunting. I am willing to guess your taxidermy bill went even higher with this buck. I know if it was me it sure would have. Hope you find the room to get out and get that elk too.
