I have hunted bears in Ontario two times. It was great. We were around White River, it is between Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay. The price was very good around $800, but there were no accomodations we brough our own food and tented. The outfitter supplied us with a camping site (on a nice little walleye pond) and 2 to 3 active baits per hunter. We baited our own sets (outfitter supplied baits) and cut up our own bears. The outfitter would have done this for us if we had wanted him to. I would go back some day, there are a few other animals I am looking to hunt on trips and with the price of trips I am trying to get one in about every three years. Am headed to Quebec for Moose this year.
Good luck and have a good time if you go, I do love bear hunting.
Outfitter I used was "Superior Outfitters or Superior Bear hunts I dont remember exactly it was Superior something out of Hawk River Onterio, the owners name was "Mike"
