Bear hunting Minnesota's No Quota Zones?

Has anyone here hunted the northwestern area of MN? My son and I are looking at hunting the Lancaster area this fall and any contacts or information would be a great help?

I did not get drawn for a licience in my area ether this year.

Hunting in no quota zone in eastern part of state is crowded. I would think the same would be true in west also.

What part of north central ND are you in, I grew up in Landa ND.

Interesting, I grew up 4 miles north and one mile east of the Landa cemetary!
